Introduction

Everything we are we built from nothing.

Founded in 1966, we are one of UEA’s oldest sports teams. We have since grown to become some of the university’s most prominent and dedicated athletes. Some of our rowers already had a strong rowing background, whilst others picked up an oar for the first time when they joined us – whatever your current ability, we will maximize your potential. With an expanding number of rowers, coaches and boats in our fleet, there has never been a better time to join us. Our water training takes place on the River Yare, where we keep our boats in the Whitlingham Boathouse, whilst our land-based training takes place at Norwich School Gym, next to Norwich Cathedral. See our main "about tab" for more details on our training.
